Transfers to Madrid hospitals for medical appointments from Madrid
Looking for a taxi to Madrid hospitals, or a car like Uber, Cabify or Bolt: here you book Spanish private hire (VTC) with advance booking and a fixed price from your town.
An early specialist appointment in Madrid means leaving before dawn, and coming back means waiting for a bus after a procedure. A door-to-door transfer avoids both: you leave at a reasonable hour and return when the patient is ready.
Why a car with a driver
Accompaniment to the department door, not just to the hospital gate
Waiting included for the duration of the appointment, with the amount agreed before you leave
An invoice for your insurer, with the tax details you need
Non-assisted transfer: this is not an ambulance or medical transport, it is a car with a driver
Same indicative price for Hospital Universitario La Paz, Hospital Ramón y Cajal, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Hospital Gregorio Marañón. The exact amount is confirmed when booking, with the hospital and appointment time.
Madrid hospitals from Madrid
The region's large hospitals are spread between the capital and the metropolitan ring. Early appointments coincide with inbound traffic into Madrid, and afternoon ones with the outbound rush.
How to get there from each area
- Madrid capital
- Leaving the capital means taking the M-30 or M-40 to the right radial road: the A-42 to Toledo, the A-4 to Aranjuez, the A-2 to Guadalajara and the A-6 to the mountains. Early morning and late afternoon, the approaches to those radials are the slowest part of the trip.
- Sur metropolitano
- From Getafe, Madrid is entered on the A-42 or M-45, and Barajas is reached on the M-40 round the east of the city. Valdemoro lies on the A-4, which enters from the south towards Atocha and gets congested from Pinto at rush hour.
- Corredor del Henares
- From Alcalá, Madrid is reached on the A-2, which passes Barajas before reaching the city, or on the R-2 toll road when the motorway is busy. Torrejón de Ardoz is the stretch where it jams most.
- Las Vegas
- Aranjuez lies on the A-4: the route runs up towards Madrid through Valdemoro and Pinto and enters from the south towards Atocha. For Barajas you go round on the M-50 or M-40, the part that varies most with the time of day.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price include waiting during the appointment?
It is agreed beforehand. For short appointments we normally wait at no extra cost; for procedures lasting several hours it works out cheaper to book the car by the hour than to pay for two separate transfers.
Is this medical transport?
No. It is a non-assisted transfer in a car with a driver: we carry no medical staff or equipment and it does not replace an ambulance. If the patient needs care during the journey, medical transport is required.
